Last week I had the pleasure of glamming up Stacey for her near shotgun wedding. 🙂 Her and her fiancé pulled off planning their wedding in less than two months, so that they could enjoy a fabulous Cancun vacation before work got busy again in the fall. She was a lot of fun to work with. She wanted to “glow” and feel beautiful on her wedding day.
I was able to get her that blinged out look with using Naked 3 palette on her eyes. I then used the Sleek contour palette in “dark” to further achieve this glowy look. But the most memorable and touching this was what happened after I did her mom’s makeup. Her mother never wears makeup, but agreed to it for Stacey’s wedding. When she looked in the mirror she was moved to tears. She felt amazing; and kept saying “I look so pretty.” It is moments like this that I am so happy I decided to follow my passion and become a makeup artist. That moment made all of the heartache, I went through to get here, worth it!
First up….baby sis….
…then the bride!
Congrats Stacey, and I can’t wait to see your professional pictures.
