This is the second post of a 4-part series of questions I recently received regarding past clients. The first post was about who was my most touching client, and today I am sharing the story of the client that I had the most powerful impact on.
Most Powerful Impact – Who & Why?
This client was technically not the client, per se. She was the mother of the bride. A very sweet bride I worked with in the summer of 2015. I loved working with Stacey (and we are actually in the process of working together again in the near future). She let me know that she did not wear makeup often and she did not want to have alot put on. She wanted take sure she looked like herself. As I do with most people, I had her sit facing the outdoor window, facing the natural sunlight, to get her makeup done. She didn’t see her face until the application was complete. When she looked at herself in the mirror I saw a reaction I had not seen before. She was moved to tears. She said she looks so beautiful! That really warmed my heart!
Most Powerful Impact – How That Touched Me
That day I really learned the value of makeup. It is so much more than covering up blemishes, or enhancing your eye color. That day I learned, as an artist I can help every woman that sits in my chair feel like her best self. Get that boost of honest confidence that can only come from within. That is such a precious process to be apart of and I am so thankful to all of my clients that allow me to do that for them. <3.
