I have no idea where you are, but here in Atlanta, it is officially summertime! The high’s have been in the 90’s and it feels like a sauna especially after all of this rain that we keep getting. I know many of us ladies fight with the humid weather this time of year, and here are 4 easy steps to make that fight not so bad and to have great humid weather makeup.
Step 1 for Humid Weather Makeup
I personally do not have oily skin, but I do have very sweaty skin (especially across my forehead and my upper lip). I find that the primers that combat oil allow my skin to have a matte look and also allow my sweat beads to sit on top of my makeup when they form. So when I blot away my sweat, my makeup stays still. My favorite primer for this is Smash box PHOTO FINISH PORE MINIMIZING PRIMER.
Step 2 for Humid Weather Makeup
These are great to use because that can be applied with your finger or with a brush. They are highly pigmented, blend so well, and an last for several hours without creasing. They also can double as an eyeshadow primer for powder shadows that you might have. I love MAC PRO LONGWEAR PAINT POT, and for a less expensive option, I go for Maybelline EYESTUDIO® COLORTATTOO® 24HR CREAM GEL EYE SHADOW.
Step 3 for Humid Weather Makeup
Cheek & Lip Stain
Here is a great way to had dimension to your face without it feeling heavy. And as a good bonus, most of these stains are water/A.K.A. sweat resistant. So as you sweat, these products will not budge.
Step 4 for Humid Weather Makeup
These are designed to absorb the oil and sweat without messing up your makeup. And the cool thing is if you follow step #1, your sweat will sit ON TOP of your makeup, so it’ll be really easy to use the blot papers when you need them. You can find these anywhere makeup is sold. From Target, to convenience stores (i.e. CVS) to your favorite beauty supply store.
